Superior Solar installed a new solar water heater for our home in April 2010. Years earlier they had installed a solar heater for our pool. Because of the good experiences we had at that time, we elected to use them again when installing the water heater. Our consultant, David Spanier,came to our house to inspect the location & to provide us with the details on the product. We had 2 major concerns: 1) would the tank fit in our garage, and 2) how would the pipes be run up to the solar panel. David assured us that the tank would fit in our space and not intrude upon the rest of the garage. He also indicated that the pipes would have to come out the front wall of our garage. Not the most aesthetically pleasing result, but one that we could live with. We elected to move forward with the installation. The installation crew arrived on time & began working. They tried very hard to run the pipes to the solar panel thru the attic so as to minimize the exterior exposure. Try as they might, they couldn’t do it. After consulting with us, they decided to run the pipes outside just as David had told us. They completed the job in 1 day. The workmanship is very good – neat and all exposed pipes are wrapped in insulation. They cleaned up all trash & were very courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone else who is considering installing solar panels on their house.
