The Superior Solar Four Step Process

The purchasing of a solar system, whether it is a solar electric system; a solar hot water heater; or a solar pool heater can be a confusing and complicated process. Over the years we have developed a 4 step process to make the purchase and installation easier to understand.

Phase 1 Consultation

The first step is to speak to a Superior Solar Systems representative to see if solar is right for you. We will discuss your expectations of a solar system and review options. If you are interested in financing or leasing, this is a good time to begin reviewing those options. You can call us, fill out a contact form or stop in at our Longwood office and begin the process.

Phase 2 Site visit

Every solar installation is unique because of many factors. An on-site visit is probably necessary to make certain every variable is accounted for prior to the design of your new solar system. The most important piece of information from this phase is sun access. If the system is going in during construction or remodeling, a copy of the construction drawings will be helpful in addition to the on site- evaluation. For retrofits, a thorough evaluation of possible mounting areas must be conducted. While we are there we will check your mechanical and electrical systems. These systems will be affected by the installation of a new solar electrical installation. A thorough site evaluation is critical for a successful design.

Phase 3 System Design

With the information gathered from the site visit and the drawings (for new construction) our engineers will analyze the collected. After determining the constraints and attributes of the site we will be able to match that data with hardware components that will maximize the energy output and efficiency of your new solar system.. At the end of the design process we will present you with complete design, including drawings, system specifications and a final cost estimate.

Phase 4 Installation

Once we obtain the necessary permits and assemble your customized solar components, installation will begin. We will not overlook any detail during the installation of the new solar energy system. Our installation technicians are the most highly trained in the field. Our systems routinely outperform our competitors, resulting in the lowest cost of ownership in the business. We are not done until you are absolutely satisfied. The time it takes to install a solar electric system depends on the type and size of the system. Your sales consultant will be happy to give you a timetable for your particular system.
